Materials

The basic raw materials used in the manufacturing of RCC pipes of NP2/NP3/NP4 classes confirming to IS 458:2003 (fourth revision) includes cement, aggregates, reinforcement, water & concrete. These materials have to be used in correct proportions (Indian Standards) to build a high quality RCC pipe. We require the material with the best quality at the most competitive rates to give optimum benefit to the purchaser.

Cement: Cement used confirm to IS 12269-OPC 53 Grade cement with minimum compressive strength of 35 N/mm2

Aggregates: Aggregate confirm to IS 383-1970 for manufacturing of RCC pipes.

Reinforcement: Reinforcement cages used for RCC pipes are of mild steel confirming to IS 2062 Grade-1.

Water: Water used for mixing of concrete and curing of pipes confirm to IS 456.

Concrete: The concrete quality with design mix as per IS 456 consist of minimum cement content of 450kg/m3 and a compressive strength not less than 35N/mm2 for 28 days.
